RCA boosts education, equips Abuja school with ₦10m for digital library
According to Blueprint Newspapers, in an article published on July 19, 2025 stated that Run Club Abuja (RCA) has successfully raised ₦10 million to equip Junior Secondary School (JSS) Gwagwa in Abuja with a new computer laboratory and digital library. The funds were generated through the RCA Charity Half Marathon, which has grown significantly in participation over the past five years. This initiative aims to enhance education for underserved students by providing them with access to technology, a vital resource in modern education. In addition to the funds for the digital library, the event also raised ₦3 to 5 million worth of safety apparels and care packages for street cleaners in Abuja. Corporate sponsor Norrenberger Asset Management participated as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility. The program is expected to have a lasting impact on the students and community of JSS Gwagwa.
